| Soft chess (Bromus hordeaceus) is a plant that is about 50 centimeters (approx. 1.5 ft) tall. In Central Europe, this grass species can be found at many places, such as meadows and roadsides. Its ears are green with a slight touch of grey. The flowering takes place in May and June. This is the best time for picking this plant it because many pet birds like it best in this stage. |
